Terms & Conditions

1. Your vehicle will be ready for delivery/collection on the morning of the booking date and we will hold the vehicle for you up to 8pm/or an agreed time subject to your travel plans. You will be charged from the first date of hire irrespective of your collection/delivery time. We and the customer reserve the right to cancel their booking 24 hours before the first date of hire.

The hire vehicle must be delivered and returned at a mutually agreed time. There is a US $15.00 per hour charge for any late returns.

2. Insurance: You have comprehensive insurance including passenger liability coverage. Hirer is responsible for USD $2500.00 of each loss or damage to the vehicle. The insurance shall be governed by the laws of Grenada.

3. The vehicle must not be loaned to other persons by the hirer or driven by persons other than those listed below. If there is an accident involving an unauthorized driver, the full payment for repairs must be borne by the person whose signature is on this contract.

4. The Company reserves the right to terminate this rental agreement at any time if the vehicle is abused or the seating capacity exceeded. Minimum age of drivers: 25 years. Minimum rental: 2 days. We also have a 24 hour notice period for both the hirer and Bees.

5. If the hirer elects to return the vehicle with less fuel than when rented, a refueling charge of $25 ECD will be made in addition to the fuel charge. Please note most gas stations only accept cash.

6. Hirer is liable for all parking and driving violations and must remit payment directly to proper authorities. Please ensure that you are aware of parking rules and regulations before you park up in an area or parking lot.

7. In case of an accident Hirer must inform the company, notify police authorities and complete an accident report. The Hirer must stay with the vehicle until the police are satisfied with their statements of events. The Contract may be terminated without a refund of the rental charges if Hirer is liable and pending police investigation. We cannot guarantee that a replacement vehicle, even if you're not at fault, will be available for the duration of your hire. Please also note that in the event of a more serious accident and there is a court summons you may be required to stay in the country until that is completed or you must return to Grenada at a later date.

8. The Hirer must immediately inform the company of any fault or defect in the vehicle and will not use the vehicle while it is in an unroad-worthy condition. The Hirer must not attempt to fix any issues in the car. The Hirer agrees that they will call us first and we will send out the 24/7 recovery vehicle. Late fees will still be applied if you have an issue with the vehicle but have failed to advise us.

9. Rates do not include fuel.

10. All vehicles are tracked and equipped with visual cameras facing the road and directly ahead even when the car is in reverse. This is to help support both supplier and Hirer in the event of misuse and any accident.

11. We encourage the Hirer to record a personal video of the vehicle they are hiring inside and out before driving away from the Bees Auto Rental representative.

12. All occupants are advised to wear a seatbelt. It is Grenada law. All vehicles sound an alarm to alert you if the seatbelt is not engaged. Failure to wear a seatbelt can result in a police fine which you as the Hirer is liable to pay for.

13. Travelling with children: Bees Auto Rental supplies free baby car seats & toddler booster car seats for the duration of your hire. It is advisable to use these free options when driving. All passengers must wear a seatbelt. Please do not have a baby on your lap in the front passenger seat as the power of the air bag can seriously injure a baby or child.

14. It is prohibited:

To smoke tobacco, drugs or vape inside the vehicle

No pets, farm or wild animals allowed in the vehicle at anytime

To eat or drink inside the vehicle

To transport any raw fish/ meats (unless it is in a suitable leak proof container)

To transport any large quantities of food and drinks bar your regular supermarket purchases

To be used for any commercial use, farm equipment, sound systems, building supplies, heavy items.

It is prohibited to use Bees vehicles for any monetary gains such as deliveries, tours, taxis and Haylup or other online booking car share or taxi systems.

Any such usage could result in a loss of deposit, valet charge of $50 ECD or immediate collection of the vehicle, including litigation.

15. Please keep the vehicle as clean as possible inside and remove any rubbish on completion of your hire contract. Any violation of the above could mean withholding part of the deposit to cover the valet cost of $50 ECD. Major soiling (not including beach trip sand) will incur a higher charge of $150 ECD.

Under no circumstances should anyone sit or enter the vehicle with any body paint or anything similar such as oil based body paint. Evidence of misuse will incur loss of your deposit & extra costs to cover a deep valet of the car and seating.

17. When handing back the vehicle at the end of your contract please remove all personal items from the vehicle and check under seats, glove compartment/centre console etc.

Bees Auto Rental will happily return the items to the Hirer at their own cost

18. Please prevent thefts from your hire vehicle please ensure the car is turned off and locked when not in use and ensure all windows are closed. Park in well-lit areas. Always be aware of the area you are parking in. Hide all valuables out of view. If you can see them from outside the vehicle, so can thieves. The trunk of your car is a great spot to place valuables.

Optional Protection:

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - USD $15.00 per day

CDW covers the cost of damage to the vehicle regardless of fault. This waiver is optional and does not include damage to tyres or rims; or any interior damage such as cigarette burns, rips or stains to upholstery or carpet, missing items such as floor mats, spare tyre, jack and keys etc. This waiver is available with a deductible of US $500.00.

Deductible Waiver (DW) - USD $8.00 per day

DW waives your responsibility of all deductibles associated with CDW providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with the conditions of your rental agreement.

Roadside Assistance (RA) - USD $5.00 per day

RA provides 24-hour roadside assistance. This includes jump starts, flat tire changes, lockout service, towing and fuel service delivery to help reach the nearest gas station.

Any charges incurred, including those for damaged tyres, lost keys, towing service or fuel are the responsibility of the customer. If RA is not purchased roadside assistance is available; however, service charges will apply.

If Optional Protection is declined, the customer accepts full responsibility up to USD $2,500.00 for damages or loss of the vehicle caused by accident, fire or theft, regardless of who is at fault. If Optional Protection is accepted, responsibility for the above is reduced or waived providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with the conditions of your rental agreement. Optional Protection does not cover damage to tyres, rims, floor mats or upholstery. All Optional Protection charges are 15% taxable.

A returnable security deposit ($300 USD) for possible minor damages in and outside the vehicle will be held, and returned on satisfactory inspection of the vehicle on return.

If you pay by card please note that depending who you bank with the monies may take 3-5 working days to reappear on your account. If you pay cash you will be given back your cash deposit. We cannot give cash deposits back for card payments.

Toyota Noah Hire only - additional customer information

Areas where you, the driver shouldn’t drive due to low clearance of the vehicle and badly designed roads. We are happy to assist you with any queries you may have about the routes you need to take during the hire duration.

Please note that a tracker is installed in the vehicle and if there is damage on the vehicle based on the banned routes then there is a risk of losing part or all of your deposit to enable repairs.

List of roads but not limited to:

Clarks Court Bay, Benji Bay in Woburn, Golf Course Hill (opposite Silversands Resort off Grand Anse Main Road), Jean Anglais off Falledge/Grand Anse Main Road, Jean Anglais off Belmont Road, Ka Fe Beau Hill off Grand Anse Main Road opposite Silversands Resort, Chateau de Moth hotel, Dexters Restaurant entrance (you will need to park near D’Cosy Nook Rum Bar opposite Silversands resort entrance), Aquarium Restaurant (please park at the top of the entrance by Maca Bana), Rocky’s Beach bar and Wild Woods entrance at BBC. Please park and access the public entrance to BBC beach.

Please find alternative routes or parking to enable your visit to be as smooth as possible. The best policy to use is to take your time coming down off a steep hill, angle the vehicle and go slowly.
